Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Gallup is inviting qualified providers to submit proposals to provide Drone and/or Fireworks Display Services for Independence Day Celebration in Gallup NM. 1. The City is conducting a single-award RFP for drone light show performance and/or a fireworks display performance. It is anticipated that award under this RFP will result in a Professional Services Contract that will be for an initial term of one-year with an option to renew for up to three (3) additional one-year terms for the concurrent years 2025, 2026, and 2027 Independence Day Celebration events. Contractor to provide: • A minimum of one (1) twenty (20) minute drone light and/or fireworks show OR the maximum performance duration that can be done within the constraints of the total number of drones and or fireworks. • Display should consist of creative formations, variation of colors and combinations, a grand opening, body and finale. • If submitting for a drone light show, proposal should include a minimum of 200 GPS controlled drones with bright LED lights that are visible for miles of the performance space. If providing a fireworks display, number of fireworks shall be the necessary quantity for the minimum time duration requested. • Designated staff to coordinate with City staff on creative programming and planning. • Contractors submitting for a drone light show must have skilled operators and meet all local, state and federal guidelines to include all applicable Federal Aviation Administration Guidelines and Regulations Contractors submitting for a fireworks display must be in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations to include National Fire Protection Association NFPA 1123, AND including but not limited to using one licensed pyrotechnic operator in connection with the handling or display of fireworks and obtaining all necessary licenses and permits.
