Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Congregate Shelter Operational Services 1. Provide emergency sheltering services for Clients at designated facility 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 2. Adhere to Anchorage Fire Department Policy 17-10 (Appendix D). 3. Contractor will provide shelter opera�ons through case management and a peer support team with an emphasis on transi�oning people to permanent housing. The aim of the Congregate Emergency Shelter Project is to: a. Preserve life, health, and safety. b. Help people experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Anchorage to quickly find safe alternatives to the streets and encampments through shelter in a peer-supported, congregate shelter that focuses on rapid exits to permanent housing or appropriate supportive services; and c. Promote system transformation to rapidly exit individuals and couples from congregate shelters to permanent housing. 4. Provide intake of Clients in a way that ensures the safety and rights of Clients inside and outside the Facility. At a minimum all weapons and illicit substances will be removed from clients and stored securely until returned to the Client upon their departure from the Facility. B. Food Services 1. Provide three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) to every Client each day at a location designated by AHD. 2. Coordinate meal delivery to designated location with AHD or designee. 3. Ensure all relevant Federal, State, and Municipal codes are followed in relation to food services. 4. Food standards must be in accordance with CFR Title 7, Subtitle B, Chapter II, Subchapter A, Part 226, Subpart E, 226.20. 5. Maintain insurance as outlined in Appendix A: Insurance Requirements and require all subcontractors to maintain this same insurance. 6. Contractor shall submit monthly invoices to AHD within 10 business days following the last day of the month. Contractor shall only bill for the actual number of Clients served
