This surplus may originate from any of the following entities: • Municipality of Anchorage o General o Fleet o Public Works o Anchorage Police Department o Anchorage Fire Department o Solid Waste Services o Port of Alaska • Anchorage Waste and Wastewater Utility The ultimate purpose for this auctioneering service is to maximize the total surplus sales dollars for MOA while minimizing costs and resources. This will require the successful contractor to capitalize on their ability to target and attract potential buyers, to use various technical means/methods of carrying out an auction, to securely store materials until sold, and to facilitate the sales process - all at a reasonable cost.
