Specifications include, but are not limited to: Supply labor, equipment, materials and supplies to perform the required work as shown on Figure 2 and as refined during construction. Contractor is to provide resources to complete this project without any adjustments in the original bid amount or contract time. Schedule: Work shall commence following Notice to Proceed and upon direction from the Engineer. Work shall be performed in one continuous time period. Time is of the essence. Anticipated Notice to Proceed date is October 2, 2023. Request locates from Utilities having facilities in the area. Use Alaska Digline, Inc. Locate call center. Within Talkeetna (north of E Veterans Way), limit speed of construction vehicles to 20 miles per hour, or the posted speed limit, whichever is less, Complete work between 7 am and 7 pm daily or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. If needed, place and compact fill to provide dry, stable access along the Main Street and A Street right of way to access the project. Remove, store and reset existing wooden fence that interferes with revetment repair. Provide temporary barriers and markers during construction.
