Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: custom built Fuel Support Trailer for the Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands. • Tank o 1,100 Gallon o Engineered DOT 406 compliant o 2 compartment – 800 gallon/300 gallon, baffled where necessary o High strength, corrosion resistant construction. This trailer will be subject to frequent travel across dirt roads not maintained for passenger cars. Rocks, washboards, washes, etc. will be common. An example would be: 10-gauge A1011 carbon steel. o Horizontally mounted o Rollover rails o (2) DOT 406 compliant, integrally vented manway with fill hatch with locking capabilities o (2) Sump drains o (2) Emergency shut-off valves, remotely operated from an easily accessible location o (2) Sight tubes (level gauges) each with spring loaded “Dead-Man” ball valves so that sight tubes are isolated from fuel except when checking level o Tank nameplate attached to shell of tank (Manufacturer, specs, dates, etc.) • Pump Package (2-separate pump setups): o (2) 12-volt transfer pumps for gasoline and diesel, 25 GPM minimum o (2) Filter adapters w/spin-on filter canisters (1-gasoline / 1-diesel) o (2) 1” diameter x 25’ long gasoline/diesel approved dispensing hoses each with a storage location (hangers, boxes, etc.) Hoses covered to prevent sun damage. o (2) in-line fuel meters located at nozzle o (2) Auto shut-off nozzles (1 gasoline / 1 diesel) o (2) 12-volt deep cycle batteries installed in battery box and wired to pumps o (1) 2-bank battery charger installed in box with batteries o (2) Sets of plumbing with locking ball valves to lock-out and isolate pumps for security and maintenance
