Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Replacement parts to include, but are not limited to: keyboards with and/or without palm rests and/or touchpads, batteries, and LCD screens with and/or without digitizers and/or bezels for all models of district issued chromebooks. 2. Current chromebook models that are not under warranty include: 100e (generation 2), 300e (generations 1 and 2), and 500e (generations 1 and 2). The district currently has approximately 7,500 devices that are not under warranty. 1. If repairs are requested from the awarded contractor, chromebooks shall be picked up or shipped from one district location with postage paid by the awarded contractor and not billed to the district separately. Boxes for shipping shall be provided by the awarded contractor upon request by LCSD. Repairs to include, but are not limited to: LVDS repair, bezel repair, hinge repair, LCD repair, top cover repair, bottom cover repair, speaker repair, camera & microphone repair, motherboard repair, audio board repair, missing key repair, headphone jack repair, palmrest repair, battery repair, touchscreen repair, and charging port repair, webcam repair, operating system restore, I/O Board repair, daughterboard repair, cable reseat, and wifi card. If an estimated charge to repair a chromebook exceeds $300.00, the district may request to decline the repair. 2. Provide an efficient Work Order Management System that includes the following, but is not limited to: Type/Model of device being repaired Serial Number of device being repaired Asset Number/Reference Number Quantity Cost to repair which includes parts & labor Date shipped Real time progress tracking for devices being repaired Comments 3. All workmanship shall be performed by skilled and capable technicians under competent supervision, employing latest and best practices of the trade.
