Specifications include, but are not limited to: Manufacturer’s Warranty: Warranty period shall begin when the vehicle is placed into service by the City. The minimum warranty requirements are as follows: Warranty should be at least three years/36,000 miles, 100% labor and parts on entire vehicle, no deductible including battery, with exception for tires, service adjustments, and consumable items. Comply_____ Exceptions_____ Warranty should cover Emission System (5 years/100,000 miles), powertrain control module, and catalytic converter. Comply_____ Exceptions_____ Vehicles, warranty should cover Corrosion (minimum 0-60 months/100,000 miles). Comply_____ Exceptions_____ Service Facilities: The vender shall operate a service facility capable of performing most repairs associated with the equipment they represent. This facility shall be stocked with common replacement and high wear parts, as may be designated by the equipment manufacturer, and approved by the City.
