Specifications include, but are not limited to: profile milling the existing asphalt pavement down 2” in the driving lanes from beginning to end of the construction limits. This process shall be completed while matching the existing cross slope of the roadway. The millings for this project will remain the property of the City and shall be delivered to the City’s stockpile location. The existing pavement shall be shot with tack oil and some minor edge treatment may need to be done before either the milling or overlays of asphalt. The 2” asphalt overlay shall be placed to the existing grade and centerline. All temporary pavement markings shall be placed the same day as the asphalt overlay. The Contractor shall take care to ensure all trucks are legally loaded to minimize damage to haul routes. The Contractor shall coordinate all hauling and stockpiling of materials at the City of Dodge City’s Material Yard with the Street Foreman, Leonel Ibarra at 225-8170 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All other materials used in the paving operation, i.e. tack oil, shall be considered incidental to the HMA Commercial Grade Class A asphalt pavement overlay. The Contractor shall submit a construction plan to the Engineer one-week before work is to start
