Specifications include, but are not limited to: RYEGRASS SEED - Quality 3-way blend of perennial ryegrass seed meeting the NTEP performance standards for Tennessee. Bid package shall include the overall NTEP rating for grass varieties from the following sites: Lexington KY, Blacksburg VA and Columbia MO. Include Certifiable quality documentation. Cost and quality ratings will be award considerations. The City reserves the right to determine the quote that’s in our best interest. APPLICATION TRUCK: • Flotation tires to spread weight of product and minimize impact of compaction on athletic fields. • Open mesh drag chain, due to the low bulk density and high spread rate (belt over chain is unacceptable) • Split drag chain to precisely control application and avoid overlap • GPS mapping and spreader controls to ensure precise application rate • High flotation tires to avoid turf damage • Remote control crane to safely load seed
