Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Demolition: Contractor to remove and dispose of existing windows, trim and blinds to be replaced with new. All other window covering shall be saved and reinstalled (curtains, rods, etc.). b. Contractor to provide & install 26 windows each for Buildings 18 and 40 at Schilletter Village, installation details to match existing Building #2. Windows are Vector Envision New Construction Vinyl Windows: white exterior, white interior, LOW-E272 clear glass, drip cap accessory, and standard screen with fiberglass mesh. Screens shipped packaged in box. Measurements listed below are for bidding purposes only. Contractor to field verify all window measurements before ordering any windows for installation or attic stock. c. Approximate sizes and quantities of windows per building are as follows: i. Type A: quantity four (4), 36” x 35-1/2” rough opening, LR 2-wide casement, washability hinges, located in kitchen ii. Type B1: quantity four (4), 47-3/4” x 42-3/4” rough opening, LR-2 wide casement, washability hinges, located in bedroom iii. Type B2: quantity eight (8), 47-3/4” x 42-3/4” rough opening, LS 2-wide casement/picture, 28- 1/2” sash, egress hinges, located in bedroom iv. Type B3: quantity four (4), 47-3/4” x 42-3/4” rough opening, SR 2-wide picture/casement, 28- 1/2” sash, egress hinges, located in bedroom v. Type C: quantity two (2), 32-3/8” x 14-1/2” rough opening, located in basement vi. Type D: quantity four (4), 72” x 59-1/2” rough opening, LSR 3-wide casement/picture/casement, 19” sash, washability hinges, located in living room d. Contractor to provide the following items for Attic Stock: i. Quantity two (2): screen (reversible) for 36" X 35-1/2" rough opening, LR 2-wide casement ii. Quantity two (2): screen (reversible) for 72” x 59-1/2” rough opening, LSR 3-wide casement/picture/casement iii. Quantity two (2): screen (reversible) for 47-3/4” x 42-3/4“ rough opening, LR 2-wide casement iv. Quantity two (2): screen (reversible) for 47-3/4” x 42-3/4” rough opening, 2-wide casement/picture or picture/casement v. Quantity four (4): white left hinge casement operator cover with handle vi. Quantity four (4): white right hinge casement operator cover with handle vii. Quantity four (4): Encore left hinge casement operator mechanism (ROT200?H) viii. Quantity four (4): Encore right hinge casement operator mechanism (ROT200?H) ix. Quantity four (4): Encore left hinge casement operator mechanism (ROT100?H) x. Quantity four (4): Encore right hinge casement operator mechanism (ROT100?H) e. Contractor to replace all damaged, rotted wood around windows and re-frame. Owner to review all damaged material before doing the Work. f. Windows shall be centered in the openings side to side, top to bottom. Extension jams shall also be centered on the windows with equal reveals side to side and top to bottom. Contractor to install trimboard on building at time of window installation. g. Contractor to remove all stickers from windows. Contractor will clean all windows and areas around and under the windows on interior of building at the time of installation. h. Contractor to furnish and install, double ninety degree z-shape angle drip cap measuring 2”x1 ½” x 1/” x width of window at top of trim board for watershed at each window. Contractor shall use spray foam insulation designed for window and door applications. Foam shall be installed the full depth of the window and extension jamb.
