Specifications include, but are not limited to: PAINTING PREPARATION – EXTERIOR SURFACES: • All surfaces of cedar siding to be painted will require pressure washing to be thoroughly cleaned of peeling, loose and blistered paint, exposing any bare wood or cedar siding and shall be free from dirt, dust, grease and other foreign matter. Sanding, wire brushing, scraping are acceptable methods of cleaning. Exposed wood surfaces shall be spot primed prior to painting per paint manufacturer’s recommendations. • Replace any broken cedar siding, rotten corner boards and any damaged dryer vent covers. • Re-caulking of all cedar siding joints or siding cracks with a paintable caulk. • Paint colors: 1. Siding Color – Benjamin Moore, Palladian Blue HC-144 2. Trim/Soffit Color – Benjamin Moore, Snow White OC-66 • All soffits to be painted. • Contractor to clean up the site after completion of the project. • The paint to be used is for the main exterior of the buildings.
