Specifications include, but are not limited to: Based on the Order and Permanent Injunction ("Permanent Injunction") entered by the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona in Jensen, et. al v. Thornell, et al., Case No. CV- 12-00601-PHX·ROS (Doc. 4410), the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (“ADCRR” or “State”) is seeking an experienced Psychologist Monitor to analyze and synthesize information to improve mental health care delivery at our prison complexes. Contractor shall: 2.1. Work 40 hours per week 2.2. Work under the supervision of the ADCRR Mental Health Director and in close collaboration with other health professionals working for the ADCRR Medical Services Contract Monitoring Bureau (MSCMB) to evaluate the mental healthcare services provided to the incarcerated prison population with the Arizona State Prisons. 2.2.1. Remote work is an option, however, onsite meetings at the ADCRR central offices and prison complex site visits may be required intermittently. 2.3. Attend a two-day orientation period for onsite meetings and/or prison complex visits. Following this, meetings will take place every two to four weeks, on average, via Google Meet. 2.4. Conduct qualitative reviews of the work of all psychologists and psychology associates who deliver healthcare to the prison patient population under the guidance of the ADCRR Mental Health Director. These reviews will include a determination of the clinical appropriateness of care based on the psychologist provider's education, training, and experience. 2.5. Participate in the development and implementation of a robust continuous quality improvement program.
