Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Design Services for a new alignment for existing road Old Highway 40 from E Atkinson Rd to new location on SR-248. 2. Consultant will be completing a full design package including vertical and horizontal alignment, signing, striping, storm drain/drainage, curb/gutter/sidewalk, existing utilities, existing utility conflicts and suggested remedies, earthwork, removal of exiting alignment, typical sections, acceleration and deceleration lanes on SR-248, a Center turn lane on SR-248, etc 3. Design will include a plan/design to remove the existing section/alignment of Old Highway 40 for the section shown in “Figure 1.” 4. Develop a set of plans and specs compliant with current UDOT standards 5. Assist contractor and County to UDOT permitting process.
