Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor may provide aftermarket filters and coolants that meet or exceed OEM specifications with pre-approval from Department contact. Contractor shall continuously adhere to all manufacturer and code required check-out procedures for installation, maintenance, startup, and operation of any system or system equipment. Contractor and their employees who will be working on this contract maybe subject to a Level three (3) background check before performing any work on City property. All service work performed shall be in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and specifications as outlined in the manufacturer’s equipment maintenance manual. Contractor shall ensure that a trained representative is scheduled with the City, at the appropriate time, to perform or provide all necessary field services, maintenance, commissions, and repairs required to preserve and maintain a manufacturer warranty for the installed system. Contractor shall arrange for all shipments and pay all costs for delivery of those components and consumables required to perform their work to the level of service agreed. The delivery and handling of system components and consumables must be in accordance with standard industry practices and manufacturer requirements, so as to maintain all original, material warranties. Contractor shall provide a wipe-cleaning of the work environment, equipment housings, and equipment rooms after all provided work. Contractor shall keep all work areas clean and free from all debris, and rubbish, to the most reasonable extent possible. The Contractor shall remove all debris and rubbish from the work area daily and shall maintain the work area in a broom clean condition. Prior to final inspection and/or acceptance of any work performed, Contractor shall provide a thorough broom, vacuum, and wipe of all equipment panels and exposed access terminals. The purpose of this cleaning shall be specifically to remove hazards and debris from the active contact points of equipment and connecting cords and sockets. Contractor shall provide a visual inspection of the work area to ensure that no equipment or safety hazards exist. Contractor shall immediately notify the appropriate department representative when a system is removed from, or returned to, service. Contractor shall perform the services at the designated Mesa premises where the generator is located, unless otherwise agreed to by the requesting department. Contractor shall furnish all parts, materials, and labor necessary to perform the services; In some cases, the City may choose to acquire OEM repair parts to keep on hand. The contractor shall install City provided OEM repair parts when requested and notate that the City provided the part(s) on the invoice for labor. All work shall be completed in a workmanlike manner according to codes, standard practices, and any additional specifications provided by the City. All parts, supplies, and materials supplied by Contractor shall be new and free of defects. No fuel and/or trip charges will be paid as part of this contract. Contractor is to price each service level to include any travel, labor, parts, and material needed to complete the service level. Contractor shall warrant that all repairs and improvements provided as part of the services shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of at least one (1) year from the date of completion of each repair or improvement.
