Specifications include, but are not limited to: In order to effectively update the existing confined space inventory (last revised 2005), City properties identified in Appendix A will require the following: • Site Visit • Identification of confined spaces including: o Photographs o Measurements o Evaluations to determine confined space type (permit-required or non-permit-required); Evaluations will be made by the contractor based on the characteristics of the confined space and shall be made by an individual who has received extensive training in confined space evaluation. A certification of training from an authorized OSHA Outreach Training Institute (OTI), a certification from an organization that is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education Credits (IACET), certification as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) will suffice as evidence of training qualification for the individual conducting the inventory evaluation.
