Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Education (Department) is seeking quotes to support mental and behavioral health needs by providing immediate staffing for up to 9 SAUs and approximately 160 students. The number of students may be increased if the Department determines the need for additional Teletherapy Services is necessary. A. Service Delivery 1. Licensed mental health providers perform direct teletherapy counseling, psychiatry consultation, and behavioral consultation 2. Provide clinical supervision for school based mental health workers 3. Community Health Workers (CHW) to provide care coordination services for youth receiving School Based Tele-Counseling Services a. The CHW provides case management: i. Ensures students and families receive the help they need ii. Documents teletherapy encounters iii. Collects data iv. Completes monthly reports and v. Maintains comprehensive electronic client files, which include referrals, release of information, consents and other teletherapy documentation B. Staff Requirements and Qualifications 1. Professional providers should be licensed and practice according to Maine State licensing standards. 2. Providers should have background checks according to Department of Education policies for school personnel.
