Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) requests specialty service contractors to design and install a new reflective ceiling system and protective puck netting for the Brett Memorial Ice Arena, located at: 701 E Bogard Rd, Wasilla, AK 99654. The new reflective ceiling install will be installed at the greatest allowable distances from the ice to help reduce puck impacts to the new reflective ceiling system. A. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, shipping, permitting, and incidentals required to provide a low emissivity ceiling system and puck protective netting. B. The contractor is responsible for verifying measurements and existing facility conditions. The contractor will make all necessary connections and meet all applicable codes. C. The contractor is responsible for demo of the existing system and disposal of debris and excess materials. D. Work to be preformed after hours. Between the hours of 9:00 pm and 6:00 am Monday thru Sunday. E. The facility will be clear of all equipment and materials by 6 am each day to allow for facility operations to be open to the public during the hours not set aside for construction activities. F. Electronic copy (PDF) of submittals will be delivered to the Borough Project Manager for approval.
