Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Fillmore District of the Fish Lake National Forest Service is soliciting bids to construct and estimated 4,400 feet (0.76 miles) of three (3) rail lodge pole and cedar post fencing around Ivie Creek, from roughly the Maple Grove Campground to the Forest Boundary. In addition, the contractor will install two (2) 10 foot metal gates in designated areas of the enclosure. All materials will be delivered to the project site by the Fillmore Forest Service District Office, contractor will be responsible for unloading delivered materials and distributing them to the project location around Ivie Creek. This may involve equipment such as a skid-steer with forks as all materials are in bundles. See attached fence plan map, drawings and descriptions below for more details. Bidder must have experience in constructing lodge pole fences, hanging metal gates. The successful bidder (contractor) will construct the fence as specified below and will provide all labor and equipment (tractor, post hole digger, drill, pliers, hammers, wire stretchers, chain saw, ATV, etc.) necessary to complete the fence as specified.
