Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City intends to contract with a well-established and fully qualified firm to provide Third Party Administrator (TPA) services for the City's workers' compensation program. The City provides a full range of municipal services and has approximately 3,100 full-time equivalent employees. The City presently has a contract with an occupational medicine clinic for initial and follow-up care including physical therapy.The City endeavors to prevent all employee occupational injuries but when they do occur, the City expects itsTPA’s representatives to treat City employees with the utmost respect and consideration when providing the required services. The City requires that the representatives of the TPA be courteous and respectful in all communications and interactions with City employees. TPA claims adjusters must make every reasonable effortto explain pertinent rights, regulations, and responsibilities to City employees in a professional and courteousmanner.
