Specifications include, but are not limited to: 8.6. Weatherization General Scope of Work A. Install new caulking and backer rod. Refer to Specifications. B. Remove caulking at window and doors frames. C. Install new caulking at doors and window Frames. Refer to specifications. D. Properly repair CMU cracks prior to painting. Refer to specifications. E. Tuck-point mortar joints at CMU as required prior to painting. F. Paint CMU walls. Refer to specifications. G. Re-grade adjacent soils to exterior walls. H. Repaint design wall colors verify with owner. Refer to elevations and photos. I. Replace caulking at walk to wall. J. Paint all metal currently painted and attached to the building - this will include canopies, piping, Fencing, handrail, etc. refer to specifications. K. Properly infill wall opening and seal penetration. L. Provide new trim rings as required. 8.7. Roofing General Scope of the Work A. Contractor is responsible to visit site to ascertain the Full extent of the work required. No additional Compensation will be allowed for failure to ascertain full extent of the work required through visual inspection of existing conditions and that detailed and Specified within the contract documents. B. Contractor to review specifications prior to bid and immediately notify architect of any conflicts. C. All mechanical units, exhaust fans, etc. mounted on the roof shall be provided with cricketing. D. All mechanical roof mounted equipment to meet proper curb requirements and penetration openings E. Not all penetrations may be indicated, Contractor to field verify before submitting bid. F. Some new coping, gutters, and associated details. G. Contractor is responsible for inspecting interior roof leaders to ensure that they are not leaking. If leaks are discovered, the contractor shall notify the owner and the architect. H. Interior ceiling tiles that are stained or damaged are to be replaced.
