Specifications include, but are not limited to: Material to be required on an as needed basis. Vendor will be required to deliver the sodium chloride in a free flowing usable condition, free from lumps and foreign material. Product that does not meet the specified conditions at the time of delivery will not be accepted and will be removed by the Vendor at no cost to the KSFB. The vendor is to provide sodium chloride in a moisture content that will not exceed two percent. Treat the sodium chloride with an anti-caking agent to prevent caking or freezing when in storage. If weather conditions dictate that the material which does not meet specified conditions must be used, or when otherwise it is in the best interest of the KSFB to use the material, it may be accepted at a reduction in the contract bid price.
