Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. Proposals to include Sound, Screens, Lighting, Drape and Rigging Coordination. 2.1.1. Basic Setup: 2.1.1.1. Stage in the end zone closest to the RR tracks. 2.1.1.2. The current plan is for the stage to be 56'W x 28'D x 1'H, with a 40'W x 8'D x 1'4H step up at the back. 2.1.1.3. Graduates will be seated on the floor; guests will be seated in the bowl of the arena. Guest seating will be approximately 270 degrees around the stage. 2.1.2. FOH will be behind the last row of graduate seating. The plan is to have audio at ground level with Andy’s Qlab setup and lighting control on a small riser immediately behind. 2.2. Sound 2.2.1. Provide a complete professional full range sound reinforcement system including 2 flown line array mains, appropriate flown out fill speakers, plus subs, front fills and other loudspeakers as needed for high quality sound, excellent coverage, and intelligibility throughout the seating areas. 2.2.2. Note that there is a new house system in the arena which works well and is zoned by individual loudspeakers, if it’s possible to use the house system to provide outfills rather than flying additional PA hangs as a cost savings, that would be preferable, so long as it will provide adequate quality. 2.2.2 We will consider your recommendations for other approaches that vendors feel would provide better results, but they need to be discussed with UNH before the proposal is submitted.
