Specifications include, but are not limited to: The role of the Technical Consultant (Consultant) is to advise and to assist the Department regarding the implementation of certain elements of the Major Capital School Construction Program (Program) with an emphasis on assuring the equitable distribution of limited State resources to address statewide needs of school construction in Maine. The Consultant will also work with the RSU 49 Superintendent of Schools and their consulting architectural/engineering team to develop a solution for the school district’s construction project for acceptance by the State Board of Education, which is the approving agency for the Program. The work of the Consultant will be part-time, and the amount of time will vary from week to week. The intent of the contract will be to provide services to assist in the development and implementation of a project that has been approved for State funding. The project is a new Elementary School located in Benton, Maine.
