Specifications include, but are not limited to: The manufacturer or bidder shall provide the following items(s) and manufacturer’s product information. 1. A one-gallon plastic container of product is required to be submitted by the bid due date and time as specified on Page 1, via UPS, Fed Ex, or Hand-delivery and addressed to: James Swisher, VDOT Materials Division, 6200 Elko Tract Road, Sandston, VA 23150. If sample is not submitted by the solicitation closing date the Bidder shall submit the sample within five (5) business days of notification by VDOT. 2. Safety Data Sheets (SDS). A current SDS is required to be included with the bid response. Proprietary information shall be identified and will be held confidential. If the SDS is not included with the bid response, the Bidder shall submit the SDS within five (5) business days of notification by VDOT. Refer to Special Term and Condition #26. 3. If product is a solid, a SDS sheet for any anti-caking agent and a description of the anti-caking application method to be used must also be submitted. VDOT shall be provided with a method for determining the presence of the treatment and information relative to the solubility and photodecomposition of the anti-caking agent. 4. Physical specifications including detailed information on any corrosion inhibitor used in the product and minimum concentration of the corrosion inhibitor plus information on the appropriate laboratory procedures for verifying concentrations of corrosion inhibitors shall be provided. 5. Independent certified analysis-showing compliance with all constituents for which limits have been set by these specifications shall be provided.
