Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Removal and disposal of gas filter. The filter has a 20” outer diameter, 17’ total footprint length, is 7’ tall and 36” wide. HMG estimates that it is 5,000 lbs in weight. The removal and disposal of the filter will not include the disposal of the internal gas filter elements, which will be removed by HMG personnel prior to the start of demolition. • Removal and disposal of gas heater. The heater has a 36” outer diameter, 17’ total footprint length, is 4’ wide and has a 16’ tall removable stack. HMG estimates that it is 7,000 lbs in weight. The removal and disposal of the heater will not include the disposal of the internal glycol mixture, which will be removed by HMG personnel prior to the start of demolition. • Removal and disposal of aboveground pipe facilities. The above ground pipe facilities include +/- 115 feet of 4” to 6” steel pipe, 6 – 6” valves, 4 – 4” valves, 2 – 2” valves. All foundation saddles and anchor points shall be removed, contractors shall cut anchor bolts so that they are flush with concrete foundation and made safe. The concrete foundations shall be left onsite undisturbed. HMG will remove mooney regulators prior to the start of demolition. • Underground to aboveground transitions. All underground to aboveground transitions shall be cut 1 foot below grade, cut opening of underground pipe will be filled with foam and capped to prevent voids. The underground pipe will then be covered with gravel. • The awarded contractor is responsible for the disposal of all demolished facilities and clean up after project is completed.
