Specifications include, but are not limited to: During the design phase, the selected design firm will provide all design services to include the tasks outlined below: Facilitation of a comprehensive goal setting, basis of design technical criteria development, and traditional architectural space programming effort that will fully quantify and characterize the intended building program, contemplated building systems, and site development parameters; Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Engineering (multiple disciplines), Special Systems, and Interior Design professional services; Coordination with various City of Peoria departments, master developer’s offsite engineering consultants, and the Phoenix Fire Radio system coordinator; Coordination with various City of Peoria / Construction Manager at Risk retained specialty and City team components (example: Audio Visual, Signage, Furnishings, Building Automation); Collaborate with Owner and Construction Manager at Risk on sustainability decisions; Design phase project planning and scheduling; Alternate systems evaluations and value engineering; City of Peoria plan review and permitting management; Early pre-qualification of a third party commissioning agent; Communicate the design vision, ideas, and recommended improvements through rendered plans, elevations, vignettes, and three-dimensional models; Assist in City Management, City Council, and/or Homeowners Association presentations; Construction Administration services (during the Construction phase).
