Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The equipment will be Owner Furnished – Contractor Installed for the above noted project. Since the school will not be able to take receipt of the equipment, the equipment supplier will be required to coordinate the early delivery, temporary storage, and final delivery to the project site. The intermittent process is to be accomplished using an Allowance to retain a Rigging Contractor for the project. 2. Bid Alternate No. 1 – A separate cost is to be submitted by the equipment Supplier related to an annual service contract as noted in the attached Bid Documents. 3. Allowance – An Allowance is to be included in the amount of $5,000.00. The Allowance is to acknowledged on the Bid Form for the project. It will be used to cover the cost of the following: a. Rigging Contractor – The intent of utilizing the services of a Rigging Contractor is ensure the early procurement and final placement of the equipment. Since the schools will not be ready to receive the equipment, the Supplier is to retain the services of a Rigging Contractor to coordinate the following: i. Equipment Delivery – Coordinate delivery to a secured and covered location for storage of the equipment. ii. Temporary Storage – The storage facility is to be a Bonded & Insured warehouse that can accommodate the unloading for storage and reloading for delivery to the site. The anticipated length of storage. Proof of insurance to be submitted and provided to Owner. iii. Site Delivery ‐ The anticipated date of delivery to project location will in March of 2024. Upon notice from the installing contractor, the Rigging Contractor is to deliver the equipment within 14 days of notification. The delivery will include coordination with the project’s contractor to set equipment at its final location. It is to be unloaded using a crane for final placement through a roof hatch to its Second Floor housekeeping pad.
