Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bangor requests bids for the maintenance/rebuilding of portions of the Bangor International Airport’s existing deicing stormwater treatment system. Specifically, this project is associated with maintenance of Cell 4 and areas upstream of Cells 1-3 of the Airport’s subsurface flow (SSF) gravel wetland system located southeast of the traffic circle on Godfrey Blvd. in Bangor and referenced in Attachment 1 (Phase IIIA-Disposal Area and Phase IIIB-Disposal Area Plans). The primary purpose of both phases of this project is to restore the original design and function of Cell 4 and the riprap-lined drainage channel located at the head of the International Canal.
