Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Ada County Clerk’s Office is mainly located on the first floor of the Ada County Courthouse. As one enters that space, after the elevators, there is an under-utilized island space that is anticipated to be redesigned for better use. In addition, the windows at the front counters will be modified so that clerks can be at eye level with the public when conducting court business. It is anticipated that more counter space will be created for Clerk functions that are associated with passports, marriage licenses, and title searches. It is also anticipated that under-utilized space will be converted to a conference room, some offices and space for additional cubicles. It is anticipated that the work will occur during the day so the public must continue to have access to the other offices located on the first floor. Because the work will take place inside the Courthouse, all personnel will be subject to a background check. Those interested in viewing the space can do so, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The space is on the first floor of the Ada County Courthouse just past the elevators.
