Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CAM system requires modification to add additional workflow, functionality, and data collection to meet legislative mandates and federal system changes. A major federal system (ASPEN), which feeds data to the Centralized Abuse Management-Corrective Action & Licensing Management System, (CAM-CALMS) system will be shut down sometime in 2024. The federal government’s system, Internet Quality Improvement & Evaluation System (iQIES), will replace the old system, Automated Survey Process Environment, (ASPEN). iQIES must be mapped and data flow integrated with CAM-CALMS for person accounts, investigations, licensing, and corrective action for facilities under State licensure.
