Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor warrants that its agents are fully experienced, qualified, and have expertise in performing repairs. These repairs will include but not be limited to fuel tank leak detection system repairs including automatic tank gauges and all probes, tank monitor repairs and fuel dispenser repairs and/or replacements. The Contractor and its agents shall perform these repairs in a good, safe, and workman like manner with the level of care and skill exercised by members of the environmental service industry currently practicing under similar conditions, and in strict accordance with applicable laws. Contractor’s minimum requirements: • Must be able to work on Incon leak detection systems and a variety of dispensers and pumps including Wayne and Gasboy. • Provide the DOT with a contact name and number for calling when services are needed. Contractor shall confirm notification within 24 hours after project manager contacts them of their estimated time frame to initiate work. • Certain repairs such as pump installations will need to be quoted to project manager for approval. A detailed quote will need to be submitted showing a breakdown of labor (hours per hourly rate), mileage & a breakdown of all parts. Approval from project manager will be needed prior to proceeding with repairs. If quote is not received within 7 days after being contacted by the project manager. • Secure and maintain at its own expense all permits and licenses necessary for the legal and proper execution and completion of repairs. For underground storage tank work, Contractor must be licensed by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. • Take all necessary precautions for the safety of all and shall provide all necessary protection to prevent damage, injury, or loss to: • any and all employees involved in repairs and all other persons who may be affected • all of the repairs and all materials and equipment to be utilized in the repairs; and • the environment
