Specifications include, but are not limited to: ITEM 1: TELESCOPIC AERIAL WORK PLATFORM (1 each) GENERAL: It is the intent of these specifications to describe the minimum requirements for self-propelled telescoping manlift. The unit is to be fully assembled, tested and ready to operate at delivery. All items appearing in Manufacturer’s published literature and specifications as standard are assumed to be included in bidder’s proposal and shall meet the following minimum specifications: PLATFORM HEIGHT: Minimum 40’ HORIZONTAL REACH: 31’ Minimum PLATFORM CAPACITY: Minimum 500 Lb. capacity ENGINE: Minimum 45 HP Diesel Engine PAINT: Color of main body shall be "Highway White”, acrylic enamel DuPont #LF508 or equal, or manufacturer's standard safety or industrial white over a prime coat. ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT: Unit shall contain any additional equipment, not specifically mentioned but necessary, to make a COMPLETE and WORKABLE unit. STANDARD EQUIPMENT: Unit shall contain all standard equipment listed as such in the manufacturer’s latest literature unless otherwise stated within these specifications. REGULATIONS: Unit shall meet any ANSI, state or federal OSHA regulations as applicable. MANUALS: Two (2) complete sets of manuals consisting of, but not limited to; owners', operators, parts and shop repair shall be furnished with unit. All manuals shall be provided at the time of delivery. Any item not produced by the manufacturer and necessary to make a complete and workable unit will also be required to have the same manuals furnished. All manuals to be current with year model of the equipment delivered and shall accompany the delivery of the trailer. SAFETY DECALS: Instruction and safety decals shall be fitted to each unit for additional operator safety. SAFETY CERTIFICATION: Manufacturer/dealer confirm the model offered shall be a standard production model, which shall include any modifications described within this specification. REGULATIONS: Unit shall meet any state or federal OSHA or DOT regulations as applicable. PRE-SERVICE: All new equipment must be pre-serviced to the manufacturer’s recommendations and in first class operating condition when delivered. All service work shall be done in the vendor’s place of business or in another location provided by the vendor. No equipment shall be assembled or serviced on Highway Department property. Only minor modifications to equipment necessary to bring the item into compliance with specifications will be permitted on Highway Department property. Unit shall have a minimum of ½ tank of fuel when delivered. ADVERTISING: Unit shall be entirely free of any and all advertising attachments of dealer, such as clips, license brackets, mud flaps or other devices bearing vendor’s name. TRAINING: It shall be the responsibility of the vendor to provide complete and satisfactory training regarding safety, operation, and preventative maintenance. Training shall be provided for up to one (1) full day and shall consist of classroom and hands-on instruction on that which is described above. WARRANTY: Shall be fully warranted against defective materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months/1,000 hours. The warranty shall begin the date the unit is placed in service. Warranty CERTIFICATION shall be provided and identified with the unit. Unit shall be manufacturer's latest current production model and supported by the manufacturers’ specification literature. Unit that is not of production type will not be considered. MODELS APPROVED WHEN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS SET FORTH HEREIN. NOTE: Model listed below may require equipment not normally listed as standard or optional equipment.
