Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) through the Office of Textbooks, is issuing a call for bids for the adoption of textbooks in the areas of Business and Technology (Academic), Computer Science, Cursive Handwriting, Driver’s Education, Pre-Kindergarten Math, World Languages, and CareerTechnology Education. Materials submitted must meet specific criteria to be selected for placement on the Textbook Adoption List that will be used by public, accredited non-public, and special state-schools and students in the state of Mississippi. Digital/virtual formats of textbooks/instructional materials will be considered and accepted for review. The adopted list will be published on the MDE Textbook and the Mississippi Instructional Materials Matter websites.
