Specifications include, but are not limited to: COPE OF WORK: 1. Provide child care, with appropriate staff to student ratio, for a total of 15 days during the Fall and Spring Breaks at up to 2 Los Alamos Elementary Schools 2. Services will include, an educational component to engage students in active learning through play. a. Los Alamos Public Schools will provide a teacher to collaborate and help implement educational activities and advise on programming. b. Provide plans that include age appropriate instructional strategies, culturally appropriate curriculum, and incorporate a variety of hands on experiences for learners. c. Demonstrate the ability to meet the needs of diverse learners ages 4-12. 3. Provide snacks (am and pm) and lunch: (unless otherwise stated in your proposal) a. Provide a daily plan/schedule for appropriate snacks and lunch or detail requirement for parent provided meals. 4. Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the care of children in New Mexico schools. (including child care license) 5. Follow all district policies and rules while providing services within the school setting (including documentation of criminal background check).
