Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Newark is requesting submissions from qualified individuals and firms (“Contractor(s)” or “Respondent(s)”) to provide RFQ: Tax Appraisal Services of a specialized nature to the Law Department. Using this RFQ, the City of Newark intends to establish a pool of attorneys who will be available to provide tax appraisal services as needed during the contract term. One or more individuals/firms may be selected to provide services. If selected, the governing body will approve a resolution awarding a contract to the contractor(s) based on an hourly rate of compensation as set forth in Section 4 and for a sum not to exceed a specified amount. Through the RFQ process described herein, person and/or firms interested in assisting the City with providing such services must prepare and submit a Qualification Statement in accordance with the procedure and schedule in this RFQ.
