Specifications include, but are not limited to: Amity Regional School District, Building Committee (“Building Committee”), seeks the assistance of a qualified professional Architectural / Engineering firm (“the successful professional”) to provide design services for the renovation of an existing 6,600 SF school library media center which is located at 25 Newton Road, Woodbridge, CT to meet the space needs (current and future) of the 1500 high school students and staff. Firms responding must have demonstrated relevant experience similar to this project. A new Building Committee was created by the Amity Board of Education in November 2022, and will be re-established in September 2023 and this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is issued in accordance with the Board’s approval to develop renovation plans for the Library Media Center (LMC) to the Building Committee. It should be noted that the District intends to fund the project through its Capital Nonrecurring Account and not have to request funding through the referendum process.
