Specifications include, but are not limited to: Johnson County Public Works (JCPW) is requesting bids for Highway Pavement Marking. Contractor is responsible for all required applications and permits and shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment, unless otherwise noted, for the Highway Pavement Striping Project. The yellow markings shall be 4" wide and shall be 0.220 mils thick with 8lbs/gal glass beads. The white markings shall be 6" wide and shall be 0.200 mils thick with 8lbs/gal glass beads. Changes to the application rates based on the condition of the roadway to be sprayed shall be made prior to striping between the contractor and the Johnson County Road Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent.
