Specifications include, but are not limited to: The South Summit School District is seeking proposals to provide a Seismic Evaluation of the Gymnasium at South Summit High School. The evaluation will occur in phases: Phase 1: Tier 1 Evaluation per ASCE 41-17 with a comprehensive report; Phase 2: Tier 2 Evaluation per ASCE 41-17 with a comprehensive report,Concept Retrofit Design, Concept Drawings, and a Cost Estimate. Phase 2 may not be requireddepending on the results from Phase 1.South Summit High School was originally constructed in the early 1970’s, with a major addition in the early 1990’s. A FEMA Rapid Visual Screening was completed in 2015, and the Gymnasium was determined to require a detailed evaluation due to the age of the structure and the potentially unreinforced masonry walls. The District desires to determine if any seismic deficiencies exist and what, if any, upgrades may be required
