Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The City of Hutchinson is seeking Bids for certain material it wished to purchase. Appendix A,B, & C – Filters: The Department of Public Works has approved Wix, Napa Gold only. No substitutes are allowed. Vendor must be able to supply filters within 3 business days of the received order. Any filters with longer than 3 business days will need to be approved by the City of Hutchinson Central Garage Superintendent. 2. All filter numbers listed are Wix part numbers. 3. The vendor proposes to furnish the material called for in the specifications at the prices submitted within the attached appendixes: Appendix A-C (Filters). 4. The vendor shall carefully examine the specification and that he has fully investigated the conditions for furnishing materials in connection with this Bid request for AUTOMOTIVE FILTERS, FOR PUBLIC WORKS CENTRAL GARAGE for the City of Hutchinson, Kansas and he further certifies that he is familiar with the type of work involved within the scope of the Bid. 5. It is understood that the quantities are on an as needed basis and that the supplier will be paid on the basis of the unit bid price only for the actual quantities delivered. 6. The successful bidder agrees to maintain an adequate inventory of items bid in an established place of business in the City of Hutchinson areas to effectively service the needs of the City during the term of this contract. 7. All items bid shall be delivered and to be bid at the delivered price. All items are to be clean and packaged in factory cartons for easy identification and stocking. All items will be ordered on an “as needed” basis. Filters must be non-terne plated. The lead content may cause terne-plated filters to become toxic.
