Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Apply approved herbicide to 766 acres of rangeland infested with spotted knapweed (Centaurea maculosa). • A federally approved pesticide use list for Boardman Bombing Range managed by the US Navy restricts the types of herbicides that can be used at this location. Selective herbicides most effective for treating knapweed that are approved for this location include clopyralids (Transline), aminopyralid (Milestone), or triclopyr and 2,4‐D (Crossbow). • Apply herbicides at the rates and for the site conditions and/or land usage specified on the label of the product being used. • Follow all label directions; the label is the law. • Comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. • Possess an Oregon State Applicators License for rangeland applications. License information must be submitted prior to application of herbicide. • Possess a valid driver’s license or identification for site access. • Attend a 20-minute briefing at the US Navy Range Control on the Boardman Bombing Range prior to starting work. This will be arranged in coordination with the Oregon Military Department Project Lead and can be scheduled the first day of work no earlier than 0900 hours. Once range brief has been completed, work on subsequent days can commence prior to 0900 hours if desired. • Be responsible for providing all chemical, storage and disposal in compliance with federal and state laws. • Complete and submit a fillable reporting form AGO Form 200-1-16 (Exhibit B) or equivalent form, after providing contract services. Completed AGO Form 200-1-16 should be sent electronically to the Oregon Military Department Project Lead.
