Specifications include, but are not limited to: Areas within the Oregon Army National Guard Najaf Training Area (Camp Adair), located in the Willamette Valley requirespost-burn rehabilitation using native species that can enhance the habitat and provide competition for invasive species that mayemerge. The Oregon Military Department is therefore seeking Willamette Valley native seed mixes for the following restorationproject areas. There are two different distinct habitat areas in which we will be seeding. Each is listed below with the preferredmixes, however we are open to changes as needed based on seed availability.Seed Requirements Based on Habitat Types:1.Wetland Prairie/Bioswale:•Seed Quantity: 7 acres applied at 4-6 lbs/ac for a maximum total of 42 lbs of seed.•Seed Mix/Species: Prefer a mix to include native grasses and sedges but would like to include native forbs in themix when possible.•Seed must be native varieties of the Willamette Valley; locally sourced is preferred.2.Disturbed Ground/Open Woodland:•Seed Quantity: 30 acres applied at 6-8 lbs/ac for a maximum total of 240 lbs of seed.•Seed Mix: Prefer a mix to contain approximately 50% grasses, 12% annual forbs, and 38% perennial forbs ifpossible. Heavier grass percentages will work.•Seed must be native varieties of the Willamette Valley; locally sourced is preferred
