Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Removal of the existing façade as shown on Exhibit A. • Removal of any structural supports behind the existing façade. • Grinding any remaining supports flush to the existing block wall after removing steel structures. • Placing plywood to cover the gap between the roof beams. Cover the plywood in vinyl soffit material. • Placing two coats of Sherman Williams Duration paint (or approved equal) on soffit material (color to be selected by owner). • Creating a finished product that looks professional, is long lasting, and is weather tight. Cleaning of all disturbed areas. • The contractor shall coordinate all work with the Fire Chief and/or his designee. This is an active station, and care/advance planning will be the responsibility of the contractor as to not disrupt the fire station’s operations. Any temporary bay closures or blockages must be coordinated with HFD in advance.
