Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) DAILY a. Clean and disinfect toilet fixtures and hardware in the restrooms; b. Clean and disinfect door fixtures and hardware; c. Replenish all supplies which include, but are not limited to toilet tissue, toilet seat covers, paper towels, soap, garbage bags in the restrooms and kitchens; d. Sweep and damp mop ceramic floors in the restrooms and all tile floors in the hallways and all offices with a light cleaning solution and/or disinfectant, without getting the furniture wet causing damage to the furniture and the color to bleed on the floor. The CONTRACTOR shall not utilize strong cleaning solutions which may damage the floor wax; e. Sweep doormats; f. Clean all sinks and counter tops. These tasks shall include, but are not limited to scrubbing and wiping down of sinks with cleaning products and/or disinfectants; g. Clean all furniture and equipment in the restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and offices. These tasks shall include, but are not limited to dusting and disinfecting all surfaces; h. Empty and clean trash receptacles and replace liners as needed in the restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and conference rooms; i. Clean and polish water fountains in the hallways; and j. After completing the above tasks, place trash including bulky items in the trash dumpster located behind the Hale E building. 2) WEEKLY a. Vacuum all rooms with carpeted floors; and b. Wipe down all equipment and furniture in conference rooms, including, but not limited to, tables and chairs, and damp mop tile floors for all conference rooms. 3) MONTHLY a. Dust and damp wipe window ledges in the restrooms, kitchens, offices, conference rooms, and cubicle tops and ledges. 4) BI-ANNUAL DEEP CLEANING a. Provide deep cleaning of the bathroom ceramic tile floors utilizing cleaning solutions and/or disinfectants. The deep cleaning shall include, but is not limited to agitated cleaning such as scrubbing using floor cleaning machines, buffers, steam cleaners, and scrubbing brushes; b. Seal the grout after deep cleaning the bathroom ceramic tile floors; c. Utilize its professional expertise to strip and wax all non-carpeted flooring without moving the furniture. The CONTRACTOR shall apply at least three (3) coats of wax; d. Provide deep cleaning of all carpeted floors utilizing cleaning solutions and/or disinfectants. The deep cleaning shall include, but is not limited to agitated cleaning such as scrubbing using carpet cleaning machines, steam cleaners, and scrubbing brushes, also minimizing any excess water near or onto the furniture that may cause damage to State property such as color bleeding from furniture onto the floor; and e. Perform the bi-annual deep cleaning on weekends and/or State holidays as listed in Exhibit “A.” Submit a written request to the STATE for approval at least two (2) months prior to providing deep cleaning that includes proposed dates/times to complete the job. The STATE may propose other dates/times if the CONTRACTOR’s proposed dates/times cannot be accommodated.
