Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design and Construction Phase Services contract for Bridge Group 51C – Rt 37 C-4. Services include preliminary engineering/NEPA, Base Technical Concepts (BTC)/one-step Request for Proposals (RFP) development, and construction phase services. The selected Consultant will not be eligible to participate on the DB Team. Bridge Group 51C – Rt 37 C-4 is a bridge and pavement project with work along the Route 37 corridor from Route 2 to Route 1 Post Road. The work in this project includes: 1) Replacement of 4 bridges: a) Bridge 062301 Oaklawn Avenue Bridge (Route 37 over Oaklawn Avenue) b) Bridge 062401 New London Avenue Bridge (Route 37 over New London Avenue/Route 2) c) Bridge 063601 Hillsgrove RR South (Route 37 EB over Amtrak) d) Bridge 063701 Hillsgrove RR North (Route 37 WB over Amtrak) 2) Rehabilitation of 2 bridges: a) Bridge 061601 Glenhills Drive Bridge (Glenhills Drive over Route 37) b) Bridge 081601 Meshanticut Brook Culvert 6 (Culvert under Route 37 EB/I-295 Ramps E-S, E-N, S-E) 3) Removal of 2 bridges: a) Bridge 062501 Howard Bridge (Route 37 over Power Road) b) Bridge 063801 Boston Post Road Bridge (Route 37 over Post Road (US 1)) 4) Restructuring the interchange of Route 37 and US-1 (Post Road) to an at-grade interchange eliminating the overbuilt loop ramps and restoring wetlands 5) Installing Transit Signal Priority (TSP) at eight locations and queue jump lanes for buses. 6) New London Ave Bridge 062401 will be replaced to increase vertical clearance to meet standards and lengthen to accommodate future high-capacity transit. 7) Constructing a new bicycle lane linking Washington Secondary Bike Path to Meshanticut Valley Parkway, Route 2, and Chapel View Plaza areas. 8) Mill and Overlay pavement on Route 37 EB and WB from Phenix Avenue to Post Road
