Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1.1 Contract Item #1 – Filing Systems 5.1.1.1 The Filing system 1 unit must measure approximately 17’4 ½” x 15’7 7/8” 5.1.1.2 Filing System 1 must have at minimum 9 Static 4-Post Shelving 36” Wide 36” x 15” Deep. 5.1.1.3 Filing System 1 must have at minimum 20 Mobile 4-Post Shelving 36” Wide x 30” Deep. 5.1.1.4 The Filing System 2 unit must measure approximately 17’6 11/16” x 8’8” 5.1.1.5 Filing System 2 must have at minimum 6 Mobile 4-Post Shelving 48” Wide x 24” Deep. 5.1.1.6 Filing System 2 must have at minimum 4 Mobile 4-Post 48” Wide x 30” Deep 5.1.1.7 It will be the vendor’s responsibility to verify the previously stated measurements at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. 5.1.1.8 The filing systems must handle a minimum of 700 pounds of storage per linear foot. 5.1.1.9 The filing system must come with Safety Locks. 5.1.1.10 The filing system must have a Track anti-tip feature. 5.1.2 Contract Item #2: Installation 5.1.2.1 Vendor shall be responsible for installation of all products mentioned above in specification section 5.1, subsection 5.1.1. 5.1.2.2 Vendor shall install all equipment to meet or exceed Federal, State, County, and City Code Requirements. 5.1.2.3 Vendor shall be responsible for suppling all staff, materials, and tools needed to complete this project. The vendor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete all Construction Services. The vendor shall furnish any incidental work, materials, labor, and equipment that are necessary to complete the construction Services, even if such incidental work is not explicitly included in the Project Plans Manual and Contract Drawings. 5.1.2.4 Vendor shall secure and pay for any required permits, governmental fees, and/or licenses which are necessary for the proper execution and completion of the work as specified. 5.1.2.5 All work shall be of highest quality and in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s published specifications and to the building owner’s satisfaction. 5.1.2.6 Vendor shall be responsible for all means and methods as they relate to safety and shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal requirements that are safety related. All related personnel shall be instructed daily to be mindful of the full-time requirement to maintain a safe environment for the facility’s occupants including staff, visitors, customers, and the occurrence of the general public on or near the site. 5.1.2.7 Any damages occurring to the building or property resulting from the vendor’s performance of this work shall be the responsibility of the vendor to repair at the vendor’s expense: either by using his/her own forces or that of an approved sub-vendor. The repair method and finished product will be subject to the approval of the owner. 5.1.2.8 Vendor shall be responsible for keeping work area as clean as possible during the entire progress of work. At the end of each workday, all tools, packaging and debris shall be cleaned up by the vendor. All items that are removed to allow the installation of the new items will become the property of the vendor to dispose of unless otherwise noted. 5.1.2.9 Vendor shall be responsible for removing and disposing of all existing doors in an appropriate manner.
