Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will be responsible for gathering all data necessary to evaluate the health of the Sagebrush communities of Camp Williams; approximately 4,500 acres in several major patches across the 24,000 acres of Camp Williams. Sagebrush communities are the only plant community on Camp that will be the focus of this study. Measurements must include and evaluate the Sagebrush health, the understory cover vegetation health, the density and diversity of the herbaceous cover, the rangeland health, the encroachment by other increaser or invader species especially weeds, the population and health of the fauna species that reside in the sagebrush habitats such as small mammals and song birds. This study will compare the Sagebrush communities of Camp Williams with other healthy, stable, resilient Sage – Steppe ecosystems found in the Intermountain West.
