Specifications include, but are not limited to: The heat fused reflectorized thermoplastic materials supplied shall consist of various widths, length, letters, and symbols in white and yellow colors. The materials shall be capable of being affixed to Asphalt and/or Portland cement concrete pavements by use of the normal heat of a propane type torch. The material shall have been tested on a NTPEP test site in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, or Minnesota for at least one year. The material shall be manufactured from high quality thermoplastic binders, lead free pigments, fillers, and glass beads. The thermoplastic material must conform to AASHTO designation M249 with exception that the material will be supplied in a performed state.
