Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this project is to develop a watershed-based management plan to identify the contributingfactors in the current water quality status of Halfmoon Lakes located in the Town of Barnstead and Alton,NH. The Halfmoon Lake Watershed Management Plan will be an EPA nine-element (a-i) watershed-basedmanagement plan. Activities will include targeted investigations of critical priority areas to identifypollution sources, determine load estimates, and calculate reductions needed to remove the lake from the303(d) NH List of Impaired Waters. Sub-watershed assessments will be conducted to determine sitesrequiring mitigation for stormwater, erosion, infiltration, culvert upgrades, etc. bjective 1:Preliminary project planning.Tasks 1-4:HMLA tasks.Task 5:Participate in a project kick-off meeting.Objective 2: Develop a Site-Specific Project Plan (SSPP) for the Halfmoon Lake Watershed ManagementPlan.Deliverable: A signed SSPP by NHDES that addresses assimilative capacity, watershed loadmodeling, and best management practice (BMP) nonpoint source pollution (NPS) load reductions. Task 6: Prepare and submit a draft SSPP to NHDES for review. Task 7: Address the draft SSPP comments and submit the final document for approval by NHDES.
