Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. GHSA is a national association with representation from each of the States and Territories of the United States. Members include the Governor's Highway Representatives, Highway Safety Office Administrative Leadership, and Executive Departmental leadership from associate departments. GHSA launched an initiative to assist states on projects directly related to the planning and management of Highway Safety funding. Those involved in assisting states with strategic planning are retired and have held executive and administrative positions nationwide. They have extensive knowledge of highway safety planning, policies, and procedures. They use their knowledge to assist other States in implementing Highway Safety Plans, strategic plans, policy and procedure manuals, and grant application manuals. The consultants will also guide and help the staff understand that a strategic plan provides clear direction for individual goal setting that not only aligns with organizational goals but also affirms how each position within the UHSO contributes to organizational success. Accountability is key to successful plan implementation.
