Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) Metro is seeking a contract with a qualified engineering firm to provide the following services that will help us to achieve our goals as a gigabit city. • Design, engineering, assistance with permitting, right of way access agreements • Services and assistance regarding pole attachment agreement applications and coordination for entry to poles and right of way for OSP fiber networks to be owned and operated by Metro • Engineering Services for OSP fiber networks to be owned by Metro o The work product from this vendor will be used to build RFP’s for construction work • Cost estimation for proposed networks to be built, which are city owned and maintained • Consulting services on future fiber network expansion(s) All services associated with this contract will be shipped to and managed within the geographic boundaries of Louisville Metro, Kentucky
